Homie, they couldn’t shoot. Inside or outside. Warriors were awful. AD locked the paint down, though.

Don’t worry, he doesn’t understand what he’s watching. If he’s watching at all.

Steph is a ceiling raiser not a floor raiser. When I saw this squad struggle with the KINGS in rd 1 including a blowout loss in a closeout game it was obvious they weren’t gonna be around long in these playoffs. Denver is gonna win the west then lose in the finals to the winner of this Celtics sixers. It might as well be game 7 of the finals.

Why do think they couldn’t shoot? Look at the film, they ran away from Davis. All of them. His rim protection and perimeter defense changed their entire attack.

Yes, in game 4 against memphis lebron outplayed AD who had a bad game. So, forgive me, two instead of one

AD has 4 games this post-season scoring in the teens. Sure, he’s capable of exploding

Why do you think the Warriors couldn’t score, and even when the Lakers went cold, the Warriors still couldn’t catch up?

Jesus Christ. Did you even watch the game last night? Did you not see the warriors jack up 48 3s only to make 13 of them? Curry shot 11-28 chunking up what he usually does.

Make or miss league. Warriors choose to shoot the jumpers like they do vs every team (and not every team has an AD) and missed….

No, bro! You didn’t watch.

AD’s defense in the paint caused them to miss 3’s

AD's defense caused the warriors to be determined to take 3s. The Lakers would take that every day. When AD played big it was a complete mismatch underneath. Looney and Green looked like children.

That’ll always be a mismatch. AD locks it up like that against Denver then I’ll agree with Thanos.

And the Warriors are taking those 3’s regardless. It’s the Warriors

Did you see them dribble into the paint and run away from AD? They couldn’t get shite inside so even when they were cold that chose to keep shooting from outside, which anyone with any knowledge of basketball will tell you when you’re cold-you attack the basket.

They didn’t because the guy who has Lakers 20 points better when he’s on the court than when he’s off is making a mockery of one of the leagues best offenses.

It doesn’t matter whether you agree with me. Davis is the best player on the lakers and along with Jokic and Jimmy Butler, is having the best playoffs. I don’t even like AD, but it’s fricking clear as day.

I disagree that he’s the best player on the Lakers.

I agree that he’s the most important

The player that makes them play the best, is the best player. This isn’t an indictment of LeBrons career. LeBron is playing great, but he’s the not the reason they are winning. That’s Davis. His two way play is Duncan esque right now.

He’s going to have to play like the best player on the team against Denver. If he folds, Jokic will have a field day.

A lackluster AD in that series will have the Lakers in a bind

Of course. Because the best player in the world plays for Denver. It’s an entirely different look. It’s the toughest assignment in the league. Maybe Davis will maybe he won’t. But he’s everything to that Laker team.

But for your entire argument-the root lies here as it has with LeBron fans for 20 years: he gets all the credit and none of the blame.

This is ADs team.

LeBron never gets criticized? Is that really the angle here?

It’s an actual prove it moment for AD. You’re touting him as the best for controlling the paint against a 6’6 Green.

The Warriors team is the best possible matchup for AD. He did great. He did as he should against a small lineup.

Don’t disappear next week, Thanos. Lakers in 7, on the back of LeBron.
