I agree that's part of what makes the SC playoffs so much fun and probably the best in sports. I'm just saying, people using something like this to go against the BCS. The Kings were average the entire season. The playoffs gave them a second chance. But did they deserve one after 82 games? IDK. Good for them taking advantage, but I just hate when people use stuff like this to talk trash about a different sport. The Rangers and Canucks had great 82 game stretches from October-April where they were the best. What would be wrong if there was just a series between them? The Kings played the best in a 20 game period from April-June.. It's a different way to determine, it doesn't necessarily mean one's better.

I agree with what you're saying and actually they'd be better off if it was flipped. Make the hockey regular season worth more when you play everyone. CFB with a playoff since a lot of the time the top teams don't even play the other top teams

I love both college football and the NHL, but cfb more. I think a large part of that is because of the current system. Just saying.
