I'm high on Richter, too. He's definitely in that group of three. And I think people underrate now what a big deal the Rangers Cup was. That team was f'n cursed. (I miss 1940 chants)
Richter played in an era of lower save %'s, so his doesn't measure up, but it was elite for the era. I think what hurts him is that Richter was never seen as the best goalie on earth, while Quick and Miller were. Richter only finished top 5 in Vezina voting twice, and never higher than 3rd.

I hate the Rangers so me to give credit is amazing. But what he did Game 6-7 and 5-7 in that run was nuts.
