Diehard fan. We should sell off. Let the young hands play and let the chips fall where they may. Cubs are coming alive. Brews are playing good ball and the Bucs are coming around as well. Call it another wash and fire Matheny. Let's get real here.

Opinions?

They should just stick with 3rd place in the Central.

Yeah. Just like the 5 billion dollar bailout of the Chicago school system. Talk baseball.

Buy and sell

Zero reason to stay put, any move they make would be for next season and beyond.

Lynn,Rosenthal, etc have value, sell, sell, sell. Especially Rosie, he can step right in and close for a team in need, or set up for some one.

I have zero faith in Mo to make any move, except helping other teams.

That's what I'm saying. Lynn is gone so see what we can get. Bring up the young talent and make a mix with maybe buying a thumper. Stanton is too high a price though.

Just looking for another legit insight. Thought we could create a decent discussion about my team.

Which players do you want them to sell?

Ha! Large dish if there is a value. The starting pitching has been pretty damn good. Relief is zero. I would be open to all of the infielders except DeJong. Outfield is for sale except Sierra. What would you do?

I think we should be sellers

And by sellers I mean, ship off Lynn/Oh/maybe even Rosey

Don't ship off: Gyroko/Leake/Cmart/Waino/Carp/Pham/Yadi/Piscotty/Fowler

Anyone in between, I'm fine with sending them away whatever but I doubt we could get much

Wong is kind of a strange issue and I have no idea what we should do with him

Reason for me thinking we should sell is I don't think there's a single player out there we could possibly get that could make us a championship contender. There may not be 2 available players who can

I responded before reading the thread but I see now this went like a typical thread about the Cardinals
