You still haven't shown where there has been any success of these players outside the framework of collegiate athletics.

Everyone should be sharing in the profits that come wirh college football if you are gonna pay the players. That includes paying the band and cheeeleaders as they are also part of the “show”. Concessions people should also get more

Because no such framework exists because no one would be dumb enough to expend the capital to create a league to compete with college football when it is subsidized by the government.

If you go to Italy, Serie A is akin to the NFL for soccer, but they have Serie B and C for development. There is no education based league because only the US ties athletics to educational institutions.

But they easiest way to explain is this hypothetical - if all the universities all agreed to tomorrow that would not allow players to engage in NIL deals, what is more likely to happen - players just shrug and go back to just getting room and board or would some other league fill the void and pay?
