Btw, my take is that there’s no reasonable way they get offered more than he’s worth t them as Weintz’s backup. They may get offered a 2 and feel like they have to pull the trigger, but I think it’s more likely than not he starts the season as Weintz’s backup.

30 isn't old for a QB. He's still in his prime years. They could definitely get a 1st from a team desperate for a qb that can win them a Super Bowl if the pieces are in place.
