He stated I played football and I played basketball at a D-1 level.
So that's more knowledge of how coaches are at that level and how to interact with player/students so I would consider myself more of an expert than him
I currently coach an AAU team and if I threw a ball at a players face and shoved them calling them homophobic slurs I would expect this type of reaction from the media

ESPN was not going to stop until the coach was fired. ESPN didn't just report on this allegation, they made it headline news and prime talking point #1 for 12 hours until the guy was fired.
