Has there been a worst qb in the Superbowl than Kerry Collins??. He threw 4 awful interceptions, yes it was a great defense he played against but my God

The guy who beat him wasn't great.

Spinoff thread: Is Dilfer vs Collins the worst QB matchup in super bowl history?

Tony Eason vs Jim McMahon?

Super Bowl XII, Craig Morton, Denver Broncos: 4-15, 39 yards, 4 INT
Super Bowl III, Earl Morrall, Baltimore Colts: 6-17, 71 yards, 3 INT

ETA: also a fun one.
Super Bowl XL, Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers: 9-21, 123 yards, 2 INT
22.6 QB rating.

He did win that one though

Two AWFUL quarterbacks in the Super Bowl, good thing the Ravens had arguably the greatest post-1978 defense ever to get that trophy

What held Jim back was injuries and his reckless style of play running with the ball next to literal battery on the field by Charles Martin that practically ended the Bears' repeat Super Bowl hopes

Neither played as bad in their games than Kerry Collins did that night
Collins final QB Rating was 7.1
