At the same time, if Colt wins the Heisman I think the line will move up a little too due to people betting more on TX.

I really hope he does win it.

I think this could be a big time media front. For once, Lou Holtz made a good point last night; what good defense has Texas played? OU was slowing them down pretty well before the best player on their D had a knee injury.

You know what's funny about comments like this?? Is that you can tell said poster didn't watch the game. The score was 21-20 at the half. Their linebacker got hurt in the third quarter. Texas kept scoring at the same rate, it was their DEFENSE that shut down the OU offense.

That is the part that is being left out by OSU fans talking about how good their defense is...............

What do you plan on doing against Texas' front 7? Number 2 in the nation against the run, and number 1 in sacks. When a team plays in a offense happy league, holds all their opponents to less than their average, and still maintains a scoring D in the teens...... they aren't chopped liver.

Also, I like how everybody forgets that OSU beat Texas 2 years ago. In fact, thanks to Colt McCoy Laurinitis got put in the national spotlight with an interception or two.

Good job!! You beat a three loss Texas team, with a wide-eyed freshman QB in his third game. Forget how many players they had just lost to the NFL. Forget that neither of these teams are the same teams.

That was a good Texas team. They beat Oklahoma that year (ironically, the same Oklahoma that BSU beat, which is part of the reason some people think they should go over us). When McCoy got hurt, that's when it started going down hill for them. That game wasn't even close, either. 17 point win on the road.

But I thought the past two NCGs mattered, when talking about Ohio St?

Can't believe no LSU fan has thrown in the LSU is 4-0 in bcs bowls after the tosu fans threw around there record.

I'll go ahead and throw a prediction in as well, I see this game going very similar to the tosu/usc game earlier in the year. Texas 38 tOSU 10.

They had wholesale losses to the NFL, and started a freshman QB. You know as well as I do no freshman QB is gonna do well in his third game of the season in a game like that, but since you wanna rehash that game.

Texas ran the ball down your throats for 186 yards at 5.5 per clip.

You know where they lost that game? In the two positions they lost to the NFL, QB and secondary. Other than that the two teams had about the same yardage in that game.

The part that matters is simple, is Ohio State better than 06?

Is Texas better than 06?........ you got your answer.

many of you LSU fans need to give it a rest when it comes to Ohio State. they are a better team than what you give them credit for.

No. They aren't as good as you and USC fans think they are.

I don't know, but that vaunted Buckeye D gave up 35 to a very inconsistent USC offense.

Our younger guys are as talented as anyone elses, so Tressel just needs to trust them a little more IMO

Just curious, would that be the "20 starters" that Ohio St. returned from last season that proved they didn't belong on the same field with LSU? Are they the same guys that got raped by USC and beaten by Penn St. Just wondering.

Why dont you make the prediction? In regards to your picking LSU in bowl games, how did you do last year?

No problem. Ga Tech by 21. Last year was a little different when LSU was actually competitive.

Just come back to eat your crow when LSU skullfricks GT through the facemask.

They won't FWIW. This thread isn't even about LSU anyway, so let's get off that subject.

I could say the same thing about Ohio St, FWIW.

LSU lacks discipline on D and tackling ability, the two key ingredients to stopping an option attack.

Ohio St. seemed to lack everything on D against a very inconsistent Trojan Offense.

This is actually one of the games I look forward to watching. I think it will be closer than most people think.

Ever notice how teams like Ohio State never fall to the level we did - lose three at home and five overall?

I mean come on guys, they play football very well.

It sounds an awful lot like you're calling the LSU Tigers homosexual.

How bout we just say "I think LSU will win handily, without demanding fellatio from the 'jackets".
