I meant within their subculture, as in when a black man says it about another black man.

Black dude style is so much better now than it was back when I was growing up (thanks David Stern).

Have you seen his dance videos? They're pretty gay.

He's also a guy from a pretty eccentric city who went to Newman, not an RSD school.

He just isn't from the same cloth at all.

Odell is slaying cornerbacks, records, highlights, and ideologies about sexualities.

He posted a split pic and on one side was a picture of Nas (black denim jacket, white shirt, loose fitting jeans but not really baggy) and on the other side was some guy who may have been a rapper with pink dyed hair, a pink shirt, and really skinny jeans.

The guy who made the post is my age so I'm guessing 90's, early 2000's was when they dressed like "men".

I've seen similar posts on Facebook.

I'll take post 2005 attire for $1,000 Alex

It makes spotting the criminal element easier now that many who aren't don't dress like they are.

The latter is a much better example for young black men to look up to as they're growing up.

Also, it's funny that Carolina would have problems with a black man wearing "gay clothing"

Do y'all think there's a subconscious aversion to wanting to dress in what they see is a "less-threatening" dress?

I still don't get the baggy jean thing. What if you have to run from the cops?

It's an expectation in Man Culture. Being called a gayboy is about the worst thing you can call them.

He gets called that because he doesn't really conform to that culture in his style of dress.

Eh, not really. It has a heavier stigma in Black Culture, probably because of their cultural psyche (their masculinity and patriarchy being controlled and reduced by slavery, Jim Crow, etc., and higher HIV/AIDS rates.

I really hope the PC crowd doesn't blow up over this. It's football, shite talking is and has always been apart of the game.
