I know it feels that way when your team gives Bama absolutely zero resistance at home.

Or if we beat them on the road, in the "game of the century" and they are given a pass to the final 2 anyway.

We also beat the two 6-6 teams you couldn't beat, which leads to my original comment.

Your comment for this year was cute, but overall this how the sport is run. Your team in the beneficiary of some of the most hilarious narrative changes in history. This year is the cherry on top.

Dont we want every game to matter?

Ahh yes. I remember the days of "Every Game Counts".

Was ESPN's slogan for years....until the wrong team won the "Game of the Century" in Bama in 2011. Then the slogan was immediate dropped from the lexicon of College Football. The new slogan became "the eye test".

Again, narratives are fluid for the Tier 1 programs.

When they lose, they win.

Bama in without having to play a Conference Championship game...where have we seen this before? And it didn't need 12 teams to let them in. Same as it ever was.

when did a team have to play in a conference championship game to ever be considered?

I know, it's Bama envy, especially for your old arse but just destroying your shite point.

No team that loses this weekend should be penalized in any way. It’s 100% unfair and unjustifiable.

Having two Mountain West teams, UNLV and Boise, taking up two of the twelve playoff spots would be wild.
