Daly needs to be careful with all of that rapid weight loss. When Craig Stadler lost his weight, his swing got all out of whack because he was accustomed to swinging around the belly. He fell off the map, and promptly regained the weight so he could have his swing back. I'd be interested to see if Daly's swing looks any different.

He had Lap-Band Surgery last year. When he played after the surgery, he was on a 800 calorie/day diet to let his body adjust. He was basically playing good for about 1.5 rounds, and then fading and missing cuts.
I'm sure he has adjusted now, and will have a good year.
