So your saying the offensive scheme didn't change at all when going from Hurts(Who isnt exactly known for his arm) to Tua?

Now, why would what Tua did be a surprise to Georgia?

Because they gsme planned for a qb that has to pray to complete a pass that isn’t wide open

Meaning they likely play more aggressive with coverages and such

It did change.

Alabama started having a QB and using him

I don’t think it is

There are route trees and plays Bama can run with tuna they simply can’t run with hurts

Smart new to an almost exact what Bama could and would do with hurts

Tua presented a different look to uga

Come on reauxl, stop messing with that guy and admit that

He should also admit hurts is an awful passer and tua adds that dynamic to bama

So you mean to tell me that Georgia's defense might of struggled to know what to expect? Because of the fact that the offensive scheme changed to something they didn't have much game footage of?

Alabama vs Clemson in 2019 will be a great damn football game if both make it to the playoff. Both will have chances to be elite football teams. Half of this hypocritical board will claim to have "better things to do" that night though. frickin clowns

Bro

They let Hurts throw the ball. They've let him throw the ball all over the field. Yeah, they give him easy throws quite a bit. But they don't just shut down the pass game.

He just rarely hits anything down the field or intermediate routes. Or shorts routes Or he just refuses to throw to open guys.

Tua is God in an Alabama jersey and Alabama was losing. That's mostly the only thing that changed in the gameplan.

Dude will soon find out if Alabama improved at QB or not.

Not sold on the fact that Tua will be some world beater compared to Hurts. Could it be an upgrade? Sure but im not ready to call it this huge upgrade that people are claiming.

They have all but one new starter on defense, D'Cota Dixon, who's been hurt all off season..

After Clemson and Bama, nobody has any idea.

So did the gameplan not change at all? They ran all the same packages and all the same plays?

If Georgia wasn't ready for a QB to do anything other than run, it was because Hurts sucks arse at everything other than running.

So tell me how Alabama isn't about to improve at QB..

So a QB that is a legit passing threat is possibly a minor upgrade?

Wasn't it just last year that people were claiming that Hurts was a top 5 College QB? Im not ready to claim that Tua is such a monster upgrade based off of less than 100 throws last year.

I hope not. He sucks at passing.

A QB that is a legit passing threat is an upgrade over one that isn't. It's not rocket science.

We thought he'd be able to take SOME sort of step passing the football and become a really really good QB.

Dude can't throw a damn football and didn't improve.

Tua can throw a football.
