are you kidding me? almost the same regular season records, la beat them 2-0 in the regular season. I can guarantee if Cleveland opened the playoffs with Utah/Houston and LA had opened the playoffs with Detroit/Atlanta LA would be the team getting their knob slobbed on by the media.

Keep telling yourself that.

How the frick did the Lakers beat them during the season if they are such big under dogs. Please explain how the Cavs starting five talent is vastly better. I would argue they are not.

The Cavs play more like a team and Lebron is not a prick that is the difference. I think the Cavs will win, but not because they are more talented.

It is a toss up series; however, I question if the Lakers actually get there. I think Lebron gets there because he is going to take it to the hole and get Dwight in foul trouble.

When a HOF, an all-star, and a well respected player say they are basically rooting against the Lakers because they disrespect the game that should be alarming. Since Kobe is the captain of the Lakers they basically just spit in his face.

lakers underdogs?

no one even talks about cleveland. the fact that the lakers are talked about more on an off day than any other team is a pretty big indicator that they arent the underdog. they still have the media by the balls.

and yea, shaq and kobe play nice in the public eye, but u can tell there is animosity. both of their faults, too.

PG
Derek Fisher vs. Mo Williams

SG
Kobe Bryant vs. Delonte West

SF
Trevor Ariza vs. Lebron James

PF
Pao Gasol vs. Anderson Varejao

C
Andrew Bynum vs. Big Z

Lamar Odom would start for the Cavs at PF and he comes off the bench. I give Williams the edge; however, I would not consider it too much of an edge the Laker PG position is not depended on for points really. Also Jordan Farmar is legit at the PG position, too. I would say the bench heavily favors the Lakers.

So everything points to the Lakers. I think the Cavs are hungrier as a team and I think they work as a team to take them down. The Lakers are not even close to being under dogs

The same Bynum who went scoreless in 3 games against the Rockets? One glimpse of what he could be doesn't suggest that he's going to be some stud against the consistent Z.

If the Lakers don't win the NBA title this year, Kobe should be called out. He wants to be the best player in the world, well when you're on the best team in the world you damn well better win a title. The Lakers have much better players than the Cavs, but Lebron makes everyone around him better, something Kobe can't do.

If you move Gasol to C and put Odom at PF they still have the advantage down low. Bynum is a 7 footer off the bench that has the potential to be a very impressive offensive presence.

I am picking the Cavs; however, looking at the roster you should say no.

I like how you're thinking for once Toter Magoter

but even I'll have to admit we'll take our beatings down low to the Lake show. Gasol/Bynum/Odom did is in more than anything else both times. I'm just hoping we're a little different this time around(if it were to go down).

Still Laker advantage down low.

I am by no means picking the Lakers, but the Lakers have a huge advantage down low.

i'll take varejo and z's goofy arse over pussies like gasol and bynum. a 5th grade girl could mindfrick gasol and bynum in the post. they are so soft mentally and physically that its not even funny.

plus, the cavs have more depth overall. why? bc their depth plays defense. the lakers depth consists of bill walton's son and sasha vujabitch
