2-14 in last 16

.444 winning percentage

Only 5 teams have a worse average

What happend? Did these guys forget how to win? Most of the World Series heros have been terrible

Can anyone remember the defending WS champs being this bad the next yr? (Excluding the marlins fire sale)

If you expect to win with a shitty lineup and great pitching, your good pitchers can't suddenly start to suck.

worse record than the Cubs. THE CUBS!!!

it's been a rough last few weeks. Pablo has disappeared. Belt is still a whole bunch of meh. nobody else really picking up the offense. Posey can only do so much. Pence has been solid.

Cain is having a very rough year ... sitting @ 4.85ERA
Lincecum continues to not fool anyone
missing Voggy
Bumgarner is a stud
Zito is Zito

bullpen is hot garbage outside of Romo and Lopez

thank god the rest of the division is quite mediocre-to-bad as well. hopefully we can get something going after the All-Star break and get within striking distance by August. only 7 games back of 1st place Arizona which is a miracle considering how much we've lost recently.

Sandoval has always been an enigma. You really don't know what you're getting from him year-to-year.

One of the more overrated players in the league.

he's a free swinger. you're going to have slumps. plus he's injury prone and can't keep his weight in control. wouldn't call him overrated though .. you never hear anyone really talk him up and his contract isn't anything nuts.

he's 9 for 60 over the last month with 0 HR, 0 runs scored, 3 RBI. frick .. my .. life that is bad.

The least he can do is take his at bats in the right order

Hey R2R,

You think the giants re sign Timmy and/or Zito?

Aren't they both free agents in October?

yep, both FA come 2014. I don't know what they're going to do with Tim .. I think they'll offer him maybe 1 year @ $12 mil and see what he does.

I don't think they offer Zito a contract he will accept

your thoughts?

What can Zito expect?? Biggest bust of a contract in baseball history (excluding the 3 week span last October when he was just plain sick)

oh shite I just looked up his vesting options. he gets $18 mil for 2014 if he pitches 200 innings this season.

The giants really are kinda fricked if you think about it, only Cain and Bum are locked down long term.

Vogelsong is too old to make any long term commitment

I'm sick of lincecum, he is plain awful
I don't want Zito back either.

That's 3 new starters we need next year?

Neither kickam nor gaudin seem to be the answer

Are there any other prospects?

What about that kid from miss st we picked in the first round last yr (forgot his name)

Good, I hate being tied down to pitchers long term. I mean look at Cain this season. It's just such a crap shoot sometimes.

Well, Wheeler who we gave away for Beltran and got fricked on showed us tonight we shouldn't have made that trade. He's going to be a stud.

Crick and Surkamp have potential. We're gonna have to sign a FA or 2 though for sure though if we don't sign Zito AND Lincecum.

Chris Stratton from Miss St. he's a ways away from being big league ready

If a player meets a stipulation in the contract (i.e. - meets an innings goal) his contract extends to the following year instead of him becoming a FA

Judging by the track record, you guys are scheduled to win the World Series next season.
