Explain this moronic statement, Muschamp boy.

Yes, because he obviously put her as his sig pic for her tennis skills. God, you are a clown.
Seriously, what an overflowing vessel of douche.

Outside of doubles, where someone could make up for her lack of skill, she never won a thing.

1. Never winning a singles title and "having no business being in the top 100" are two different things. Think hard about which one you wanna go with, then report back.
2. She was ranked as the #1 doubles player in the world for a time and won two majors. But I'm sure that was all the other girl.
People that know nothing about tennis say Kournikova sucked at tennis. People that know what they're talking about say she had a disappointing career.
Because she could have been great had she not had such a pretty face and gotten caught up in the fame. There was no "lack of skill" with Kournikova. She was the youngest player to ever win the Orange Bowl 18 and unders. That's a big deal. As is making it to Wimby semis when she had just turned 16.
Tip: think first, then write.

The most overated person in sports history.

She was hyped bigtime while sfe was trying to win anything. It was all about her looks.

It's pretty obvious this an elaborate publicity stunt for Space Jam 2: Tennis Slam staring Serena Williams

Attractiveness and athletic success are not mutually inclusive, and there have been plenty of examples throughout the sports world that prove this.

But none like Anna Kournikova.
Who remains, to this day, the most searched for and downloaded *individual* -- not just athlete -- in the history of the internet.
Of all the things in the world, of all the places in the world, of all the people in the world, none of them have been typed into a search engine more than "Anna Kournikova".
Marinate on that for minute.

I'm not going to bother to check if your statement is accurate because internet searches have no relation to athletic ability or attractiveness IMO. I realize that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, but there are a ton of women, both athletes and non-athletes, who are/were hotter than Kournikova and some of them preceded the internet age.
EDIT: Kournikova's face isn't the reason she didn't live up to her potential, his lack of work ethic is.

Anna Kournikova was a global phenomenon. She was FHM's sexiest woman in the world in 2002. She was the most downloaded and searched individual on the planet from when the internet began to 2008. Every. Single. Year.
She gave me a thousand boners in high school, and a thousand more in college. And clearly I was not the only one to whom she gave substantial movenent.
So tell me: who? Which athlete was hotter than Anna Kournikova?
And it's cool if you're just into fat chicks. To each their own.
(2)
You'd be surprised how the work ethic of a person changes when all of a sudden they have 100 million in their bank at age 18.
And why did she have that money in the bank? Her face. Well, that and her beautiful beautiful backside.
So, yes, if Kournikova had looked like Conchita Martinez her tennis career would have been quite different. I mean, she was the best junior female in the world, and by a comfortable margin. Tennis magazine did an article on her and Venus Williams in 1993.
1993!
She was 12. And she even gave me a boner then, but that's okay because I was 13.
ETA: I snuck into the player's lounge at the US Open when I was 17 and kinda/almost/sorta met her. She was wearing next to nothing. Girl fricking exuded sex appeal. Dripped it out of her pores. i was gonna run game on her and ask her if she wanted to head back to the storage closet for some unprotected sex....but then greasy Sergei Federov rolled up with the rest of her entourage and ruined my chances.

Shaquille O'Neal, asked by Jay Leno (in July of 2000) if he's Superman then who's his Lois Lane, replied: "Anna Kournikova."

Kidbourbon, you're scary and obsessed. There's no reasoning with folks like you. Perhaps you should get out more.
