I agree. An eight team playoff is what is needed .. I am just pointing out that, under the current system, you can't bitch about a team that plays a schedule ranked in the top 20 and goes undefeated playing in the championship game.


As far as the conference talk, I see that point. I don't agree with it but I see it. Are you saying that if ND was in the PAC 12 and went undefeated playing the 40th ranked schedule, that they would have been more deserving?

Not at all. I'm not using transitive property logic at all.

I am stating an opinion based on the strength of the teams as I see them.

I see Florida as a better team than ND. That Florida lost to Louisville doesn't change that.
