What about a team in Portland?

Feasible, but I am not sure Portland is big enough to support two major winter sports franchises.

None of the metro areas in their range (Orlando, Baltimore, St. Louis, San Antonio, Sacramento, Cincinnati, Las Vegas, Kansas City, Cleveland, Columbus, and Indianapolis) have both an NBA and NHL team. A couple of those have neither.

They'd probably be a better fit for an NFL or MLB team unless the Blazers move.

There's 31 teams right now. No other city is getting an expansion team. This is to balance out the Knights.

Unless Arizona moves, which isn't outside the realm of possibility.

Kraken is such an awesome name. Logo looks good. One of the uniforms had way too much green for me. I liked the dark blue one the best.

I agree, but every now and then someone complains about the “lost rivalries” with their old division foes. While forgetting all the long travel playoff series with teams in Mountain and Pacific time zones. Nashville also has some long road trips, but at least they are in Central Time Zone.

Until now, I never had any idea Seattle was that starved for hockey. Doesn’t Tacoma or Spokane have a team?
