too bad the nl central standings dont work like threads on this board. then it would be easy to get the reds to the top.

I was very impressed with the way Bronson pitched down the stretch and equally impressed with the way Cueto bounced back. BUT HOMER FRICKEN BAILEY is dealing. Arrow boy's got his swagger back and his velocity is finally what we've been reading about for years.

Another bright note is stubbs. 8 bombs is way more than any of us could have expected. After his first month his atbats improved as well. There is no way Willy T see's the field. If we need to platoon Stubbs/Dickerson I'm fine with that too.

SS. Paul is great defensively and with him in the game the reds have one of the best if not the best infield in all of MLB. My only problem is his bat. If we get a solid LF I'm cool with his bat but I don't see that happening.

I think Gomes has earned the right to play everyday. His power numbers were outstanding for the amount of time he got in there. Can he do it everyday though?

They still need a true #2 hitter, too.

I'm hoping Gomes performance is like Cantu's only this time they keep gomes.

The bullpen doesn't need to be touched and Micah needs to be put in the pen on sent down to the minors to work on his bat. I just don't think he can consistently hit with his current mechanics.

My perfect offseason move would be to send Alonso to Tampa for a SS that they have on the bench (kids hitting .280 without consistent play.)

Bruce will be in RF on Opening Day, no doubt.

The blanks are uncertains at this point.

C
1B Votto
2B Phillips
3B Rolen
SS
LF
CF
RF Bruce

IMO, Hanigan and Stubbs should be the options for C and CF. Still up in the air on the other two.
