I wouldn't be surprised if Bama-Michigan got higher rating than the title game will.
Should move the game from Houston to Pasadena. a Michigan-Washington national championship must be played in the Rose Bowl.

Surprisingly there wasn’t a next tier, semi-pro type team(s) this year to ruin the parity. Georgia was close but they blew it against Bama and we all saw how flawed Bama was.
The last ten years was enjoyable at first but the freak show teams (Clemson, Bama, Ohio State, Georgia, LSU, OU) started ruining things. I think that we’re coming out of a period with an abnormally deep talent pool at the qb and receiver positions. Consider Bama and Ohio State having 2-3 NFL qbs on their roster every year and this year having regular arse college qbs. Big difference.

agree completely. it's like fan bases bragging about having the best used car salesmen. i love seeing coaches like harbaugh and deboer win through building a program with good players and coaching them up. not some slick-assed bear bryant type who stockpiles all the talent and sounds like a perpetual, walking, talking self-help informercial.

I agree with your premise I like seeing different teams in the championships, but the “ad money” is the same. It’s paid for already. The ratings fluctuate with in a range. And in this case the rating may be better, they will better than last and probably better than most recent games which have been 2 teams from the south
