It sounds silly that a win over a 6-6 MAC team could do that but it makes sense when you think about how many teams currently ranked will likely end with 5 losses. Tulsa will finish 10-3 w/a blowout bowl win. That could be enough for them to sneak into the back end of the final top 25.
