Agreed. Total buzzkill. Saturdays in football season are sacred bummer-free zones.

I quit watching years ago when they quit doing football news and added in all the personal interest stories and player interviews

The only one of those stories about someone dying that I enjoyed was the CBS one about New Orleans native and former Cincinatti Bengal WR Chris Henry. Henry died in an auto accident. That was sad, but the story in this YouTube video is awesome.



I think this was from a Thanksgiving day. I was in the hospital when I saw it. The sitter who was with me in my room, and I, both were crying when it was over. It didn't make us sad at all.
