Do you realize how ignorant you sound? Over the years several coaches and media types have brought up the same issue. Day is only making a case for his guy, which is exactly what Coach O would probably do in the same situation.

Either quarterback or running back for the most part. I agree with the earlier poster about this being a regular season award because by being so it gives everyone a fair shot rather than just the ones on the playoff teams. Any attempt to make it a post bowl/playoffs season award would tend to make it a playoff team contender award.

So much for the tremendous amount of class JB9 showed during his acceptance speech by not only verbally thanking OSU,Day and other but by also hugging them on his way to the podium. Day shits all over him by subtly suggesting he hasn’t earned the trophy yet bc he hasn’t played the best teams yet. What a classless guy. Meyer, Day and OSU didn’t deserve JB9. They will lose tonight to Clemson and whine about something else tomorrow.
