Russell had a 5 game stretch where he played out of his mind. You know what he did in the other 10 games this year? 11 tds, 8 ints with a qb-rating in the low 90s. Yeah elite stuff right there.

Let's go ahead and take out Cam Newton's top 5 games.

He had 13 TDs, 9 INTs, with a QB Rating of 80 and a completion % of 55%.

Newton also had 7 games this year with a QB rating below 80. Russell Wilson had 1.

What's your point?

Total TDs is the only non-empty stat. Total yards used to be a non-empty stat until he learned that Wilson is ahead of Newton in that category. Now it's just total TDs.

So what's more important: Yards or TDs? And you are ignoring the fact that Cam has come off the field in the 4th quarter in several games this year or they've just handed the ball off to kill time.

But yeah the guy who had 11 tds and 8 ints in 10 games this year is a stud

Newton 41 total tds
Wilson 32 total tds

Yet Wilson is suppose to be the elite one

TDs are more important.

I was just laughing that you initially considered total yards to be a non-empty stat because you suck at math. But when you learned that Wilson is ahead, TDs are all that matters... because that's the only category Newton leads Wilson in.

Thanks for the entertainment. I bet you're a hoot on the SEC Rant.

Just because I like when a smartass comment blows up in someone's face.

He is. Most have accepted it. Might as well jump on board.

So we are going to conveniently overlook the fact that someone early said that they guaranteed that Wilson had better passing stats than Newton even though Newton has both more td passes (and a higher td%) and has more yards per completion too?

Newton is the better quarterback and Wilson isn't elite. Not sure how or why y'all can't grasp this, but I'm not wasting my time on your foolishness anymore, so enjoy your Wilson circlejerk

The ironic thing is, I don't think anyone ever said Rustle was better than Cam or that Cam wasn't elite. He just got preemptively defensive.

Bumping for year-end stats...

Completion % - 68.1 - 3rd
Yards - 4024 - 12th
TD Passes - 34 - 6th
TD % - 7.0 - 2nd
INT % - 1.7 - 6th
Yards per Attempt - 8.3 - 4th
Adjusted Yards per Attempt - 9.0 - 2nd
Yards per Completion - 12.2 - 9th
QB Rating - 110.1 - 1st
QBR - 74.91 - 4th

Hats off to Russell Wilson for another mediocre season.

Seahawks on a roll heading into the playoffs. Beware.

First QB in NFL history with 4,000 passing yards, 30 TD passes, and 500 rushing yards

And he's surrounded by a bunch of undrafted guys on offense.
