I like Wilson and think he's a damn good QB... But sorry he's not a top 5 QB in the NFL today.

I do think some people unnecessarily bash him because he's not putting up ridiculous #s like most quality QBs do. But Wilson is unique with a diff skillset. He's also in a scheme that doesn't require him to throw the ball 50times a game.

His completion % is 68.8%, 2nd best in the NFL. His yards per attempt is 8.55 per attempt, 2nd best in the NFL. He's got 29TDs to just 7INTs, 1 of the better TD:INT ratio. The only thing he's not ranked very highly in is yards, and that's because he's thrown 414passing attempts this year, 19th most in the league. Not a lot of passing attempts.

So I think Wilson is a good QB, but just not an elite top 5 QB in the NFL right now. Def top 10 though.

Uh, nope

Threw a pick at the 11

Fumbled at the 8

Missed a tackle on a fumble recovery for TD

His own worst enemy

31TD 8 Int 4 Rushing Td;s over 500 Rushing yards. More rushing yards than Lynch this year.
Only Brady and maybe Palmer are better than him.

Brady, Palmer, And Cam have all played head and shoulders better than him, and you can make a case for Dalton, Carr, and Bortles as well. Wilson had by far the best stretch of his career the last few weeks. He'll never have a 5 game stretch like that ever again. Hell he probably won't even come remotely close to it either.

He's a top level game manager who had an incredible 5 week stretch. Anyone being objective and honest can see that.

Without looking, I'm pretty sure that Wilson has better QB stats than Cam in almost every category across the board.

Bortles has the 10th most passing yards and the 5th most passing tds in the league and that's with a garbage o-line.

If Russell had the same numbers, you would be touting him for MVP.

Correct, you found one of the few stats. Cam has 33 and Wilson has 31.

Incorrect. Wilson has more.

Rustle is already an MVP candidate, he'll finish within the top 5. His OL also sucks.

Bortles has nice counting stats but the level of play is completely different. Wilson's completion percentage is like 10 points higher, and he's 2nd in the league in YPA. He's much better at taking care of the football.

Just realized that my stats were from before today's game. Can't be much of a difference. But either way, Cam has put up better numbers across the board as a player this year.

And Wilson has less turnovers than Bortles because he has less passing/rushing attempts and is asked to do less than Bortles. And before someone goes full tard, no I am not saying Bortles is better than Wilson, but there is a small gap between them.

If Wilson is asked to do less than Bortles why does he average 1.5 more YPA?

The Seahawks jealousy is almost as bad as the Cam and Cowboy Jealousy at times.

Can you post the stats side by side? I find that hard to believe.
Wilson is probably more efficient, though.

Boom. Cam has had a hell of a season, but Rustle is elite.
