Ill take Artest for sure. He has said Adelman is his favorite coach in the league and I believe with it being a contract year he will be lights out and on his best behavior.
Does it mean the Rockets are at the top of the West? Well, If Yao and McGrady werent so injury prone I would say they would be right there...but we just cant rely on them. Im hoping the Rumors about trade talks with Detroit involving McGrady come to fruition..especially if it means getting a real point guard.
I do think it vaults Houston ahead of the Lakers because Artest is a great defensive matchup against Koby...he gives him fits.
I would still rank San Antonio and New Orleans ahead of Houston going into the season. San Antonio deserves the respect and New Orleans with Chris Paul and David West along with anyone is still nasty.
Im looking forward to the season...trades just make things interesting..like opening a package on Christmas.
