The entire Rockets system revolves on getting James Harden to the line 20 times a game via cheap fouls

It's why I refuse to watch Rockets games

The NBA said Curry should have fouled out before that dagger 3-pointer he hit

As a fan of a team who was recently arse-fricked by officiating, I can sympathize with Houston here.

I mean the league literally said Curry shouldn't have been there to take that shot.

Did y’all know that Alabama’s opponents get called for holding like one time each season?

You are missing out on a lot of entertainment value every year in the playoffs. It is hilarious and fun watching these professionals complain like travel ball dads when they fail to get the call that they intended to get. They cannot hold back that initial incredulous face before they go into "victim" mode.

What was Harden referring to when he said that thing about Kawhi after the game?

That would be when kawhi shot a three and came down mand landed on Zaza and was out for the rest of the series. Zaza didn’t give him space to land.

The two instances differ significantly however. Kawhi was in the corner, no where to go and a known dirty player obviously undercut him, causing an injury.

Harden on the other hand, pointed kicked his legs out towards a known dirty player, even pointing his toes like a synchronized swimmer, in an effort to leverage the known dirty player's reputation with the refs and try to initiate contact for a foul call. He was rewarded properly too, with no call and a missed shot. His legs went out so far, he likely would have fallen if Green was there or not.

Harden makes more contested 3s than anyone, yet feels the need to forget about hitting the shot and try to draw a foul? frick you no call.

Feels the needs to forget about the shot?

My word, not this again. He takes his regular shot. Same form. There is no “doesn’t try to make the shot”. Why would he want three FT when he can get the made shot plus one FT.

you can’t just say stuff like this without looking at the film.

There is no “not trying to make the shot”

I'll give you that, but denying he was trying to make Green undercut him is being willfully ignorant. Can we at least agree on that. I have said it before, I don't begrudge anyone trying to get an edge on the court, but this was painfully obvious and the ref not calling it was the proper way to handle shenanigans like that.

I haven’t seen anyone here say that was foul on green. The issue is people saying he is only trying to get the foul and not make the shot that’s clearly incorrect isn’t it.

Dude how are you going to link that and then ignore that I’ve been complaining about his push off all season?

They only call the push off when the elbow
/arm is extended. A little chicken wing is not a foul. James hits them with a little forearm shiver to just the point before it becomes a foul. One of the many skills he has mastered. Along with his footwork mastery on his step back.

I’m well aware.

I completely understand the physics of what he does and have for the entirety of the time you and I have talked about it.

He uses more force in his push than most use when they get called for the arm extension.

And Lebron isn’t out of control when he drives and gets hacked with no calls(most of the time). Harden had the push stepback that Lebron can’t do but Lebron has constantly moved through defenders who are out of position and can’t guard him exactly like Harden does. Yet Lebron doesn’t get the call.

I’m going to convince you of this one day(because it’s 100% true)

Alabama gets screwed on holding calls worse than anyone else by far.

The below is a graph of all FBS teams 2012- present (B1G teams are represented by their logos) for all games played. Michigan is towards the top right – in the “we’re getting screwed” category. The only team that has fared worse is Alabama. A lot worse. Since 2012, Alabama has drawn a holding once every 260 plays. That is nearly 2.5 times the average.
