So the NFL is now part owner of ESPN? How in this world is this allowed? So the NFL gets a say in the media contracts of OTHER sporting entities (like the NHL, NCAA, etc.)

The conflicts of interests are off the charts.

And nobody has accused ESPN of being "journalists" in decades but obviously how in the hell are you expected to cover the NFL and NFL related people even remotely fairly on a network they co-own.

The NFL has an option to out of their current deal with the major networks in 2029, what’s to stop them from exercising, giving the ESPN/ABC family the exclusive television/media rights and the mouse charging $59.99/month for a subscription to its family of networks? The next thing will be ppv only games on Disney/ESPN+

They will ruin RedZone, it's what ESPN does.
