CAL would not give up over 400 yards rushing to Georgia Tech. 2 way street. Especially at home and haveing 2 weeks to prepare. Imaging if they just had one week, Georgia would have gotten beat down even worse.

USC would be in the same boat as Ga this year if they played in the SEC. Sitting at home watching two other teams play for a Conference Championship and probably heading to the Capital one or Outback.

i dont see why they wouldnt. and even with that 408 yard game against them, georgia's run defense still only gave up 7 more yards rushing per game than cal.

whats the excuse for cal getting man-handled by a team that just lost to middle tennessee the weak before?

lets examine the ignorance of this statement.

GT had 105 yards rushing in the first half. they only moved the ball down the field to score 1 time. there other 5 drives in the first half were ended up punts, turnovers, or failed 4th downs.

so in the first half, when georgia did what they had been preparing for 2 weeks, they effectively shut down the georgia tech offense. in the second half, after GT made adjustments, georgia could no longer do what they prepared for 2 weeks. and thats when GT amassed their other 300 rushing yards and 33 points.

so what the frick did having 2 weeks vs 1 week to prepare have to do with the outcome of this game?

Obvious that you never played so I will make it simple for you.

If you are playing against an offense vastly different than what you have seen, then an extra week allows that much more prep time. It is tremendously valuable, not to just the players, but to the coaching staff as well.

You champion'd Utah with a thread stating how their quality wins are more than the SEC's put together. Will you continue with this "LOL Utah" philosophy if and when Alabama beats them?

yes dumbass, and that extra week of prep time led to them shutting down one of the best rushing attacks in the country 4/5 times in the first half. what dont you understand about that?

So without that extra week Georgia Tech would have beat them even worse. Do you see now?

Dude, you're the worst poster on this website. Your homerism is blatant, and your constant references to "Vegas" spreads is intollerable. Find a USC website, and GTFO of this one.

Utah beat Oregon St. to remain undefeated...something your beloved Trojans were incapable of.

Alabama's placement ahead of USC in the polls in not SEC bias. It's the rest of the country's recognition of the fact that USC's conference is weak as frick.

Give it up.

no dumbass, your argument makes absolutely no sense at all.

you keep harping that 'you played' and saying others didnt. peewee football does not count as playing football, and the "knowledge" you display on here day in and day out would indicate that is without a doubt the highest level you achieved.

Boo hoo, Alabama is better than you are and would beat you on a neutral field.

By the way, impressive showing against UCLA. I liked everyone's contention that you would hang well over 50 on them. Pac-1. The CONFERENCE...of CHAMPION.

You do realize we are also ahead of you in the Sagarin now? Bama may go into the bowls in 4th and has a possibility of a SEC 1/2 finish after the bowl games.
