Didn’t really follow the Sox this year. What’s wrong with the lineup, did he leave someone out or the order?

Martinez is normally DH. They put him at RF, means one of Benetinne of Bradley JR has to sit.

frick the NL rules

Price and Porcello all available out of the pen tonight per Cora.

Except for the fact that there is no Eovaldi, pen should be in good shape - no long or stressed outings outside the obvious last night. I feel good about it. This team relishes being doubted. People wrote them off when the lost game 2 to the MFY in the DS and game 1 to the defending champ and 103 win 'Stros in the CS. The chip is squarely on their collective shoulder tonight.

ETA: actually no Sale tonight either

If Eduardo Nunez had been forced to leave Game 3 because of injury, Chris Sale would've played the outfield. Sale had his spikes on and was ready to go from the 12th inning on.
Buster Olney Twitter - woulda been pretty interesting to see

This was the walk to Justin Turner, Four strikes out of the first five pitches and he gets a walk. This is one reason you have long games and tons of pitching changes.

I was shocked at how bad Mookie’s career postseason numbers are when I just looked it up

.238 avg
.322 OBP
.325 slugging

That would have gone out in the little league field that Boston plays in.

Offense is still lost in the wilderness. Yep, Mookie has had a serious power outage this postseason.

Watch a lot of baseball? Fenway is in the lower half of ballparks as far as HR go, but never let a evidence get in the way of a good internet post.
