NO, YOU won't listen. YOU LOSE. I WIN.

Elway was BETTER than Marino except for stats that he stayed around longer than he should have to achieve. I like Marino.

Marino played a grand total of ONE more year than Elway. He threw for MORE than 10,000 more yards and 120 more TD passes.

But he is NOT close to what Elway did OVERALL!!!

WRONG

THINK ABOUT IT.

I HAVE

OK!! And got his team to ONE SB. You said it yourself that Marino had only ONE good WR. Elway didn't have much more than that. And got Denver to three.

Joe Montana was head and shoulders the best. One only has to look at his performances in the Super Bowl to see that he played his best when the stakes were highest. And while many people think the 49ers were loaded with offensive stars, the truth is that Joe Montana threw touchdown passes to 2 NFL Hall of Famers during his career, Jerry Rice and Marcus Allen (Roger Craig should be a Hall of Famer). And Montana played with Allen on the Chiefs when both were near the end of their careers. Contrast that with Terry Bradshaw who had 3 Hall of Famers in Lynn Swann, John Stallworth and Franco Harris (and Mike Webster on the offensive line).

So as of right now, the only offensive player in the HOF from the those 49ers teams aside Joe Montana is Steve Young?

I know Rice will get there next year but that's pretty interesting compared to the other dynasties. (Packers, Dolphins, Steelers & Cowboys)

Ronnie Lott, but he was on defense.

Rice and Charles Haley are shoo-ins and Roger Craig might make it at some point.

Manning is a hell of a QB, but until he equals the number of Super Bowls that John Elway made it to Im going to have Elway > Manning.

Yep, hard to believe, but Montana and Young are the only offensive players in so far, but I figured Rice will be enshrined as soon as eligible.

Why is number of Super Bowls the end all be all for people while grading quarterbacks? It takes more than one player to win a world title. Dan Marino never even made a super bowl, is he worse than Rex Grossmam? He played in one.

Peyton Manning (Solidifies his legacy with an easy win on sbs)
Montana
Elway

I'm sorry Marino played in one super bowl, Grossman also played in one. With the logic of some people on this board they are equal players.
