I think I am going to predict a way too early World Series matchup of Atlanta vs. Texas. Third time is a charm for Texas and they will finally win it all this year.

frick Beltre was clutching his hamstring after that.

ETA: And Porcello's ERA for the game for right now is a strong 81.00. And it could go up.

We've got to work on our redzone offense. These 3 field goals are going to come back and bite us in the arse!

Thats probably his season ERA. For this game, I believe it was an 81.

ETA: Forgot some runs were unearned. So its actually a 72.00.

I saw him clutching his hamstring after his double and he was immediately taken out after that. Hope I'm wrong.

Porcello is just the 7th starting pitcher since 1918 to give up 10+ hits while getting 3 or fewer outs.

I changed my edit, but for this game he had a 72.00 ERA with an 11.00 WHIP. His ERA jumped from a 1.84 for the season to a 6.32. After 1 inning.

Have they mentioned anything on Beltre? Was it precautionary they took out Beltre, or is it looking bad?

No they haven't. But one thing I noticed was he didn't have a noticeable limp in the dugout like he did last year when he did it. He walked off on his own and hung out in the dugout for a bit before leaving. He may have tweaked it, which could mean a week or so.

I can more than handle a week, but jeez, I don't want another trip to the DL.

Maybe with the game being out of hand so early they took him out as a precaution.

Hope so, but he did grab his hamstring after his double, so he at least felt discomfort. And I hope thats all it was, was some discomfort.
