He played 3 years in the nfl which I believe entitles him to the lowest level of NFL pension which is still good money
He's 44....what does he do til he gets his pension?
That's my point....he needs a check til he gets his check.

Yeah I don't see how he can solicit murder, participate in it. And get out of jail.
By rolling on the guys who committed the murder
That didn't happen. They rolled over on him.

I think there are caveats/rules to receiving that, right? I am hoping you can't kill your pregnant girlfriend and still get paid for life by the NFL. They should send the money to the grandmother that is the son's caretaker.
I know OJs still collecting. pretty sure they can’t put caveats on the pensions

You can choose to start receiving benefit of your pension at 35 for NFL players

I can't link right now ,but I read an article that specifically states that Carruth" unlike OJ Simpson" isn't elgible for an NFL pension.
I quickly looked it up that he was released by the Panthers ( moral clause in contract) on December 17 of the 99 season( his 3rd). Week 17 of the NFL was Jan 02 2000. It seems he didn't reach 3 full seasons.

Looks like he doesn't have one after all. Yep, he needs a check.

Glad to hear that
I can't seem to confirm that he isn't eligible for a pension anywhere besides that single article .
It would be fitting that he fell weeks short of being fully vested.

From ESPN
"There was a smattering of applause as Carruth got into a white SUV and was whisked away from the prison."
What a-hole would applaud this MFTPOS. Someone should have offed him in prison.

Probably the jurors who didn’t convict him of first degree murder

NFL should set up a trust for the grandmother to help the kid.
And to piss Rae off.

Someone needs to off him. I hope one day he's just pumping his gas, minding his business, and a bullet from 100 yards away pierces his dome and exits out the other side.
The guy that did the killing said that Carruth screwed up his life by getting him involved. He said "I'm always thinking of ways to have him killed". Hopefully this dude backs up his talk.

Rae is going to be surprised about how cell phones have changed in 20 years.

all i can think about is his poor child. Because of what rae did the child will never have a monther or a normal life. Pure evil, i hope rae gets it 10x worse sooner rather than later
I didn't know the child survived. He suffers from cerebral palsy, but still kicking it and living with his grandmother.
People are monsters.

He wouldn’t be getting out if the child didn’t survive. Which is silly

If there is a God in Heaven someone kills him soon!

Meanwhile there is probably some 3 time shoplifter or dopehead doing life in that same prison.
