Wisconsin has 7 million people and one D1 school. They have 4x the fanbase. Likewise. We've had to do more traveling.

I think Wisconsin is the best traveling fan base in college football. They always pack the bowl game where they play. Not a slight on Oregon, but more a compliment to Wisconsin.

His brother Armond just graduated from USC and was looking to transfer to ND (for his fifth year), but the doctors couldn't clear him. Had they, I think Arik would have came here and played with his his brother. Arik also was supposedly interested in playing basketball, too, and obviously ND's a much better basketball program than Oregon. However, it's not a huge surprise.

He is rivals top 100 at DE. I wouldn't say he'd be wasted. Besides, these things end up sorting themselves out.
