It is called the Pacific Pro Football League and it will pay players. Players can only play up until 4 years removed from high school. It is meant to compete with NCAA football for kids that wanna make $$$.

Average pay is said to be about $50,000/yr + community college tuition/books.

Starting in 2020.

Will it work or no? I don't it will, but I just wanted to get everyone's opinions.

Is commissioner Ed McCaffrey’s sons gonna drop out of Michigan and turn down Nebraska to play in it?

Exactly. Where’s the money going to come from?

They won’t be able to pay dudes $50K a year plus community college tuition off of $20 tickets and consessions.

I don’t think this league will work either, but what about making players sign a contract promising the league a certain percentage of their signing bonus if/when they get drafted?

That wouldn’t be very smart for the players though. They’d basically just be getting loans to play in this league that they would ultimately be paying back once they were drafted.

Exactly. No need to discuss anything else.
