This is a list from MLB network
I admit I would have a few different names, but their reasoning was these players played at their same position during the decade.
Any of these you would have different?
No Carew, Rose, etc
OF - Reggie Jackson (As, Yankees)
OF - Cesar Cedano (Astros)
OF - George Foster (Reds)
SS - Toby Harrah (Texas)
3rd - Mike Schmit (Phillies)
2nd - Joe Morgan (Reds)
1st - Steve Garvey (Dodgers)
C- Johnny Bench (Reds)
P- Jim Palmer (Orioles)
Who u got

I struggled with 1B and SS. I thought Schmidt more of 80's guy and Robinson as a 60's early 70''s guy at 3B. SS I couldn't think of one at first then didn't like concepcion (sp?) at first it was between Chambliss, Stargell, and Hernandez. Took the younger MVP winner.
I couldn't put Munson anywhere but he deserved mention.

Why are you putting Rose in OF? He was a 3B from 72-73 until moved to first in Philly.
