New Orleans' own Jewel Scott (#1) ranked Welterweight is on the prerecorded match vs Zach Zane. It's an abomination that any #1 ranked striker is not on this card when you have fat Russians and OnlyFan women in live event matches instead.
Prerecorded Matches Not On Live Event:
Logan “Tank” Greenhalgh (6) vs. Cooper “The House” Housley (7) (HW, 3 Rounds)
Branden “The Butcher” Bordeaux (5) vs. Brandon “The Ripper” Rhodes (MW, 3 Rounds)
Jewel “Kidd Diamond” Scott (1) vs. Zachary “Dub-Z” Zane (7) (WW, 3 Rounds)

Here's my writeup on each match: Odds and Betting on Draftkings, Betway, Underdogs and Prizepicks
Da Crazy Hawaiian (Layne Viernes) (C) vs. Danie “Pitbull” van Heerden (4): (Coin Toss Winner: Hawaiian)
The night's main event features the undefeated champion from Hawaii against the South African contender in Danie van Heerden. Both strikers should probably be undefeated heading into this matchup, but Heerden was DQed in his last match after a striking foul on Makini Manu in Power Slap 7.
Hawaiian has breezed through the competition so far though his time in Power Slap and will face his toughest opponent yet. Heerden was the arguably the best Super Heavyweight striker on Season Two Road to the Title and hasn’t shown any signs of a weakness outside of his one striking foul in his last match.
I don’t expect either striker to get the knockout in this one, so it should go a full five rounds. Danie may have more power, but the Hawaiian is much more explosive in his striking. I just think Heerden is the better well-rounded striker in this match, but it could be decided by who fouls the least and the judges.
(Prediction: Danie van Heerden by Decision, Total Slaps 10)
Emanuel “No Love” Muniz (C) vs. Anthony “Babyface” Blackburn (2): (Coin Toss Winner: Blackburn)
The first championship match of the night will be in the Welterweight division as Manny Muniz is back to defend his title for the first time. His opponent is Anthony Blackburn who earned his shot at the title by defeating Chris Thomas in Power Slap 7.
The last time we’ve seen both of these strikers they were putting Chris Thomas to sleep. Now they’ll try to go for the knockout to claim who’s the best 170lb striker in Power Slap. Both strikers are undefeated in the division, with Blackburn having one draw against Cole Young.
The only two strikers to give Muniz any problems were Wesley Drain in a middleweight division match and Chris Thomas in his last match who was able to knock him down on a clubbing foul. Muniz hasn’t had many issues from strikers that weren’t from Season One (Cole Young and Chris Debow).
Manny has been the face of the welterweight division and I expect him to stay at the top with a decisive win over Blackburn. It’s likely to go all five rounds. While I think Blackburn’s story is nice, his “on-one” striking technique won’t be enough to drop Muniz in this one.
(Prediction: Muniz by Decision, Total Slaps 10)
Paige “12 Gauge” VanZant vs. Christine “The Edge” Wolmarans: (Coin Toss Winner: VanZant)
Former UFC fighter and OnlyFans content creator, Paige VanZant makes her Power Slap debut against another South African striker in Christine Wolmarans.
There’s not much to go off of from this fight other than the last time we saw Wolmarans she was getting knocked out by Sheena Bathory in his debut match. Honestly, there are too many unknowns in this match to attempt to make some kind of prediction. I give a small edge to Wolmarans with her experience, but Paige likely will have a strong enough chin to withstand her slap. It’s obvious the Power Slap brass would like Paige to earn the victory here with her popularity, so if it’s close expect the result to go her way.
(Prediction: Paige VanZant by Decision, Total Slaps 6)
Kamil “Polar Bear” Marusarz (9) vs. Dumpling (Vasilii Kamotskii): (Coin Toss Winner: Kamotskii)
One of the biggest international slap strikers comes to Vegas in hopes of taking the Super Heavyweight division by storm in Kamotskii. His opponent Kamil Marusarz has had a tough go through his Power Slap career with two losses on his record.
While this match looks like an easy one on paper there are a few details that could swing this to the underdog. There is no doubt, Dumpling’s chin will hold up in this match so the potential of a knockout by Kamil is slim to none. Kamil’s striking form has been questionable in his two matches and hasn’t done much damage.
The one thing that Dumpling will have to improve if he wants to win this match is his stepping and striking fouls. In almost all of his videos, Dumpling is stepping or tends to club his opponent. That’s why I’m going with the upset in this match. I think Kamil wins, but it’s because of Dumpling’s inconsistent striking and fouling.
(Prediction: Kamil Marusarz by DQ (TKO), Total Slaps 3 or Less)

Austin “Turp Daddy Slim” Turpin (1) vs. Vernon “The Mechanic” Cathey (3): (Coin Toss Winner: Turpin)
One of the more hyped matches on the card could be the quickest of the night as Vern Cathey’s chin will be tested early with Austin Turpin winning the coin toss.
Vern is coming off back-to-back wins earning himself a match with the #1 contender in the light heavyweight division. Turpin would be the current champion of the division had he made weight in his previous match against Ron Bata.
Turpin has taken slaps from some of the best strikers in the division so far. Ayjay Hintz and Wolverine were not able to take him down so now Vern will have his shot to bring down the loud mouth from Jacksonville.
Turpin tends to foul early in his matches where clubbing fouls were an issue in his previous matches. So, an early knockout to Vern could also lead to a DQ if Cathey isn’t able to withstand the strike.
Prediction: Austin Turpin by TKO, Total Slaps 3 or Less)
Wesley “All the Smoke” Drain (2) vs. Isiah “Pretty Boy” Quinones (6): (Coin Toss Winner: Quinones)
Wesley Drain is back on the Power Slap stage for a record 10th time and he’ll be trying to earn another title shot with a win against Isiah Quinones. Quinones was last seen at Power Slap 7 earning a knockout against Ryan Wallace.
Drain had his struggles early in his career with foul trouble but has cleaned up his act in his most recent matches with wins over Garrett Grimes and Travis Aragon. I think this is another opportunity for him to get an early knockout over Quinones.
Quinones lost to Russell Rivero in Power Slap 1 by TKO and while his chin held up for two rounds, ultimately the more powerful striker prevailed. I expect the same from Drain who has multiple knockouts on his record and has yet to ever get knocked down himself.
(Prediction: Wesley Drain by TKO, Total Slaps 4 or Less)
Jackie “The Hybrid” Cataline vs. Katharina “German Gypsy” Lehner: (Coin Toss Winner: Cataline)
Our first women’s match of the night is likely the better of the two with Jackie Cataline trying to redeem herself after being DQed in her last match. Her opponent, Katharina Lehner, is a face to the female division but has the tools to deliver an impressive showing.
The women’s division is still hard to judge because of the limited data we have on each striker. Jackie obviously has power as she knocked out Sheena Bathory on his first strike, while stepping in the process. I think one of these women are going to see the same fate and end up getting knocked out. Jackie’s chin has been untested so if Katharina can survive the first slap, she could earn the victory.
(Prediction: Katharina Lehner by TKO, Total Slaps 4 or Less)
Dayne “Da Hawaiian Hitman” Viernes (1) vs. Duane “The Iron Giant” Crespo: (Coin Toss Winner: Crespo)
The live event kicks off with the one half of the super heavyweight brothers as Da Hawaiian Hitman takes on former #1 contender in the heavyweight division, Duane Crespo. Crespo’s move up the super heavyweight may be a good move for him as Damien Dibbell has been unstoppable in the heavyweight division.
Hitman’s last match ended in DQ vs Evian Scott due to too many fouls. Crespo, on the other hand, may be one of the cleanest strikers in Power Slap. Hitman will have the weight and power advantage but I think technique and experience will be very important in this one.
(Prediction: Crespo by Decision, Total Slaps 6)
