Have you guys never watched a full season of college football season before? We aren’t even in November and you have “locks” and “guarantees”?

There a lot of losses incoming for a lot of teams listed in the thread. How do I know? I’ve watched college football before. And that was with less parity. Bama lost to FSU and barely survived Miss St, yet they beat UGA so what does that say about how strong two supposed “locks” are?

The beauty of this all is that we have a 16 teamed coming and then a 24 CFP within a decade. Then we’ll have a real champ.

Nope. None of us ever has. Ever.

Lighten up Francis. We're just having fun.

So Ohio State isn't a "real champ"? Georgia isn't a "real champ"? Alabama and LSU aren't "real champs"? GTFO with that stupidity.

How are you a champ when the teams were simply picked?

Your thinking will soon be a relic in a museum and all these Natties will have asterisks. Sure, I believe LSU and the UGA teams were the best those years but we’ll never know because the system was a joke no different than Iowa being crowned the 1958 FWAA National Champs.

In 20 years no one under 50 will give any credence to AP, UPI, or BCS Natties. And UCF’s Natties will be treated the same as the dozens of Bama’s titles. The playoff champs are all that matters now so everyone should do what Auburn did and start claiming whatever you want before you actually have to prove it.
