I think McMahon is probably a better x and o (“student of the game”) basketball mind than Pitino

Former Auburn coach Cliff Ellis won championships at four different schools in four different conferences - South Alabama, Clemson, Auburn and Coastal Carolina. He also won a championship at Cumberland, although not D-1.

He's the only coach to win over 170 games at four different schools though Callipari could join him if he hangs around Arkansas for the rest of the decade.

Will Wade will win another conference title at whatever school lands him.

If he goes to another conference besides the SEC no doubt he will and most likely in the next 3 years - hell he finished second in his conference his only two years at Chattanooga his first stop.....so when if he goes to NC State and wins an ACC title by the time he's 45 -which he probably will if he goes there....the will have come that close to doing what Slick Rick took till in his 70's to do...........just sayin!!:)

He must have said 10,000 Hail Marys for Iona to hire him to clear him for St. John's.

Will Wade is 42 years old. He has won a conference title at 3 different schools. And came in 2nd at another.

I wonder what Lynn Rollins would have to say about that? LOL, kidding

I'm gonna say Providence, UK, Louisville, Iona, and St. John's

He surprisingly never won a conference championship at Providence.

It’s Boston U, Kentucky, Louisville, Iona, St. John’s.

And for Key, he won C-USA and Big East at UofL but they moved to the ACC right at the end of his tenure so he never got an ACC one. His team finished tied for 2nd in his last season at UofL.

Also won the American in Louisville's one and only season in the conference in 2014.

He was a hands on coach - he needed to sample all applicants for the yacht orgies and make sure they were up to snuff.

Cliff Ellis didn't win the ACC at Clemson. Remember they're different in that their tournament champion is their conference champion.
