Piss Poor Bowl Games

Looking over the list of bowl games there are WAY too many bowls. We've got some real stinkers that are going to be financial flops.

New Mexico Bowl - Albequerque, NM
Wyoming 8-4 vs Temple 8-4
actually might be a decent game for the 1,600 people that show up to watch.

Potato Bowl - Boise, ID
Ohio 9-4 vs Utah St. 7-5

New Orleans Bowl - N.O.
San Diego St. 8-4 vs. ULL 8-4
Not bad matchup but this game isn't gonna fill hotel rooms.

Beef O'Brady Bowl - St. Petersburg, FL
Fl Int'l 8-4 vs. Marshall 6-6
Why? seriously why?

Las Vegas Bowl - LV
Boise St. 11-1 vs. Arizona St. 6-6
not too exciting a match up, maybe Burfict will break a foot off in Kellen Moore's arse and walk it out all over Chris Petersen.

Independence Bowl - Shreveport, LA
UNC 7-5 vs. Mizzou 7-5
Just stay home.

Little Caseser's Bowl - Detroit, MI
W. Mich 7-5 vs. Purdue 6-6
Winner get a $5 Hot-n-ready?

Belk Bowl - Charlotte, NC
NC State 7-5 vs. L'ville 7-5
I have no problem w/ this bowl. It's a nice regional matchup

Military Bowl - Washington DC
Armed Forces Bowl - Dallas
These are bowls for the sake of having bowls and using the military connection to sell it. At least the first one has a service academy in it. The bowl in Dallas is BYU vs. Tulsa (exciting!)

Holiday Bowl - San Diego, CA
Cal 7-5 vs. Texas 7-5
A pillowfight if there ever was one.

Champs Sports Bowl - Orlando, FL
FSU 8-4 vs. Notre Dame 8-4
About 20 years past being relevant

Alamo Bowl - San Antonio
Baylor 9-3 vs. Washington 7-5
Baylor beats OU and Texas, has the Heisman winner and this is the best bowl they can get? Against a Pac 12 patsy?

Pinstripe Bowl - NYC
Rutgers 8-4 vs. Iowa St. 6-6
I like the concept but it's gotta have bigger teams.

Music City Bowl - Nashville
MSU 6-6 vs. Wake Forest 6-6
really?

Insight Bowl - Tempe, AZ
Oklahoma 9-3 vs. Iowa 7-5
yawn.

Meineke Bowl - Houston
Tejas Jr. 6-6 vs. N'western 6-6
snoozer.

Sun Bowl - El Paso, TX
Ga. Tech 8-4 vs. Utah 7-5
Juarez is lovely for witnessing murders.

Liberty Bowl - Memphis
Vanderbilt 6-6 vs. Cincy 9-3
Didn't this bowl used to have marquee teams and players in it?

Fight Hunger Bowl - San Fran
Illinois 6-6 vs. UCLA 6-7
aka the Fight crappy coaching bowl, or the Fight good football bowl.

Chick-fil-A Bowl - Atlanta
Virginia 8-4 vs. Auburn 7-5
No problem here, hope UVA can do some work. Auburn is a disgrace, they lost the LeGit National Championship belt to Clemson and the ACC, only fitting an also ran ACC whips them to end the year.

Ticket City Bowl - DAllas
Houston 12-1 vs. Ped St. 9-3
I don't mind this match up, but I do hate that the bowl even exists

Outback Bowl - Tampa
Mich. St. 10-3 vs. UGA 10-3
Solid bowl matchup there.

Cap One - Orlando
Nebraska 9-3 vs. South Carolina 10-2
Not sure how either of those teams have those records.

Gator Bowl - Jacksonville
Florida 6-6 vs Ohio St. 6-6
aka the CUM bowl that's the only thing that makes this game interesting and how far from grace both programs fell this year.
