Kevin Wilson at times gets the case of morons and he hangs his Defense out.
He is a good play caller, as he calls the plays.
He better get a QB ready because Diamont and Cameron are not ready

I was wondering because when we fired Croom in 08, Wilson, OU OC at the time, was considered and possibly offered the MSU job. He made the remark that he didn't think you could win at State, but then he took the IU job. We hired Mullen and he's been way more successful at State than Wilson at IU. Way better paid also. I wonder if Wilson ever regrets that.

i really doubt Wilson said you couldn't win at MSU. I think someone misquoted him. He is if anything complimentary on programs.

I mean the way these commentators are talking you would think Indiana has no chance. They have the best drive of the game so far that ended in an INT off a receivers hand

His actual statement was he didn't want to end up like Chuck Long, OU OC who took the SDSU job which was a terrible program and was awful. He said if he went to State that's what likely would happen. Then he ends up at Indiana. I guess he was holding out for a top 20 type job that was never offered.

And at the time IU was getting huge donations from John Mellencamp for facilities they've renovated Memorial. IU is better place financially probably than MSU or SDSU

I don't know about that with State. Mullen makes well over 4 million, we just finished a huge expansion project to Davis Wade, and also added an upgraded field house. Oh well, it's water under the bridge. I think we made the right hire. I'd bet Wilson regrets it now.

Wilson wouldn't have fit in at MSU I believe. He's not personable.
