I don't think a ref should decide a game in the NFL playoffs on emotion, which is why personal fouls don't get called late in NFL games.

They guys point was the pass interference.

We see P.I. flags picked up all the time because of tipped passes Bama vs. Georgia 2012.

Once that ball hit the defender in the back, there could be no face guarding penalty.

I am a Giants fan who hates the Cowboys, but Detroit got all the calls the first 40 minutes. So if refs were cheating why did they call everything against Dallas the first 40 minutes ?

Kicker steps on player and gets a call.

The facts are the Lions were getting to Romo in the first half and the Cowboys adjusted at halftime.

THE P.I. BEING PICKED UP WAS THE PROPER CALL, IT WAS A HORRIBLE PASS.

It would have been 15 yds and a 1st for Detroit.
Nope, still offsetting. it only doesnt offset when it is a penalty "of a minor variety(5yards". Illegal hands to the face is a 10 yard penalty.......

You're an idiot. 3 calls don't offset. Hands to the face and PI offset. Then a dead ball personal foul would be called. Calls can only be offset if they happen in the same time frame

You dumbass

Didn't Detroit have a chance to stop Dallas on 4th and 6?

You are the idiot. If one team has 7 penalties and the other has one, they still offset. They only dont offset if it is a 15 vs 5 penalty

DOUBLE FOUL WITHOUT CHANGE OF POSSESSION
Article 1 If there is a double foul (3-11-2-c) without a change of possession, the penalties are offset and the down is replayed at the previous spot. If it was a scrimmage down, the number of the next down and the necessary line is the same as for the down for which the new one is substituted.
15 YARDS VERSUS 5 YARDS
Exceptions:
(1) If one of the fouls is of a nature that incurs a 15-yard penalty and the other foul of a double foul normally would result in a loss of 5 yards only (15 yards versus 5 yards), the major penalty yardage is to be assessed from the previous spot

Yes, but if they had, there would have been a mysterious defensive penalty giving Dallas a first down.

Here is where I quit paying attention to you . A kicker has to be given a place to land even if he isn't contacted.... Read a rule book sometime

Hey show me where the rule you quoted mentions a dead ball foul, which Dez should have been flagged for

If all the penalties happen during the play then yes you're right.

But if it occurs after the play then another penalty against the opposing team would have to offset that one or two or seven as you said.

HOW LONG YOU BEEN WATCHING FOOTBALL ?

Penalties always offset unless one is post play.

10 fouls vs. one is still offsetting penalties.

I think there is one instance, I cant remember, but I have seen a certain call override another, maybe a flagrant personal foul overriding a 5 yard penalty, but I cant remember the instance.

Did Bryant take off his helmet mid-play or like way after the play?

That would prob determine what the call would have been in terms of offsetting penalties or not.

I honestly didn't like the call when I saw it. Pettigrew has his hand extended on the defender the entire way down the field grabbing and pushing off, and Stafford threw an awful pass. The way they handled it though was terrible and looked terribly odd.
