Lets just think how GREAT this guy was from like 1997 to 2008.

IMO, it's his back. He said in a recent interview he has good days and not so good days. He doesn't know which until he starts his pre round warm ups. He has already reduced his schedule to the majors and a few big tournaments he likes to play in. Assuming he pars 18, his back 9 score of -1 under those conditions shows he can still compete.

I remember hearing some top surgeon last year say that he has had people who have gone through what Tiger did and it's not unheard of that they can play golf again, but it's usually with a lot of work and trouble. But, he said the idea that someone could go through those surgeries and play competitive golf is pretty much preposterous. Word class golf, almost zero chance. We just have to enjoy it when we get it.
