Kind of you makes you appreciate just how good Lamar Jackson was. Because they have nothing.

They really do suck balls right now.

I also think that he doesn't go because they don't have a QB right now capable at running anything close to the offense Brohm wants to run, where Purdue has AT LEAST 2 guys next year who are very solid including a kid who started 8 games last year. He also doesn't have a great QB coming in this year that he could poach and take with him.

In the Purdue move, he didn't even take calls or address it before he played/won the CUSACG. Because of the early recruiting signing period, he's going to have to address this ASAP if he hopes to keep his class together at this point. My belief is that Purdue tries to up him to $4.5M, adds a year, increases his buyout to other schools and will want him to come out immediately and say he's staying. If something isn't done this week like that, i'll then worry he's gone. It will show if he's all in on staying or if he really wants to wait and consider what UL has to say. If he's willing to consider, he's likely going to leave IMO.

Sucks from a fan's standpoint as this recruiting class perfectly fits most holes we have talent wise and really puts him in a position to win 9-10 games next year and get to the BIG CG.

Is Louisville a top 20 job? Why wouldn’t Brohm build something at Purdue and then jump to a top 15 job?

It’s a lateral move IMO

I was wrong. Glad Brohm turned us down. More pleased with Satterfield

Only because of Brohm's raise after last season and now 1-3. No longer a hot name anymore

Yeah I was puzzled by his commitment to Purdue. Their ceiling is 4th, maybe worse, in the B1G. Louisville can be a perineal ACC Championship team if all things click.

I don't know about perennial, but there's no reason why we shouldn't be in the conversation in competing for the ACC every so often. I think Satterfield in the long run will be better than Brohm

Well there is also the consideration that ULouisville is one scandal away from losing accreditation and or ACC membership.

Louisville has a pipeline with south Florida recruits which helps greatly.
