RP it's okay.. This will give you more incentive to prove all the so called experts are WRONG! RP will be a sleeper and good pick for whoever takes him.

He's a risk, by evidence of his history.

He can workout for any team that invites him and get drafted or sign a free agent contract.

Pro ball is in his future, if he stays out of trouble and works hard.

What is more high risk, picking Clausen/Sam Bradford top 10 and giving them a 25+mil guaranteed contract

or

RP in the 4th rd and giving him 2-3mil guaranteed?

there are plenty of thugs in the NFL thats done far worse than RP, and they still get signed for 5-10mil/yr.

RP will get drafted.

No it isn't. This is exactly what needs to happen. I teach kids like R.P. Many of them do not think that their choices will ever affect them. Maybe I can use his story in my classroom. R.P. made his choices, and now he will have to wait to see if the NFL will EVER call him. I think he is talented enough to be a good back up, at least.

Agree Phil Planet man that RP hurt us badly at QB x 2 years, but did his adolescents and behavior really warrant dismissal from the team? I thought Miles cut his throat when he did this, but if he can turn things around this year, the RP curse will be forgotten. If I was the coach, I would have kept RP on the team and watched him like a hawk.

Let's not forget that The Doc nearly lost his life that night at The Varsity.

I don't think Miles would cut a player of RP's abilities when he did unless he was really a pain in the arse.

Maybe so Rocket, I can't tell you how many 18 year old kids I had to spoon feed when I was in the Army. It took more of my personal time away, but I changed men like RP around with 1 on 1 time and discipline. Something I believe was not properly administered to RP.

" If I was the coach, I would have kept RP on the team and watched him like a hawk."

he was watched like a hawk and still got his arse in trouble again.
I was glad to see Miles would not tolerate anymore of RP's inmaturity and attraction to trouble.

That's insane. All the drug heads and thugs playing football, and RP cant even go to the combine. Holier than thou, from the league that let Vick come back.
