I'm glad we aren't friends. If any of my friends rats me out based on something one person says that might be completely false.....well I don't have friends like that so I don't have to worry.

No, but you are defending the coverup of one.

Plenty of people on the fire Spanier/Paterno bandwagon (I'm not fwiw):
By noon, more than 500 people had signed an electronic petition at change.org calling on the board of trustees to fire Spanier.
One signer, identified as a 1984 graduate, wrote: "The Alma Mater states 'May no act of ours bring shame, to one heart that loves thy name' — reason enough for JoePa and Spanier to step down."
Another wrote: "Everyone who knew including the Pres of the Univ and Paterno et al and did not notify the Police in my mind committed a felony by collusion and all should be at the minimum FIRED IMMEDIATELY."
According to officials, a graduate assistant saw Sandusky sexually assaulting a boy in a team locker room shower in 2002. The assistant reported what he saw to Paterno, who immediately told Curley, prosecutors said. But the allegation never reached police.
On Facebook, at least three pages had been established calling for Spanier's resignation. One, "Fire Graham Spanier" had received 311 "likes."
"I cannot see myself being Penn State Proud again until this university completely cleans house," one woman wrote on the page. "I want them all out — including Spanier and the entire football staff who was on staff when this was going on. ALL OF THEM. For the first time, I hang my head as an alum. I'm heartsick over this. Spanier - do the right thing and GET OUT!"

Mr. Schultz testified to the grand jury that there was a similar incident involving a young boy in the football shower with Mr. Sandusky in 1998. The mother of that boy confronted Mr. Sandusky at her home, with two police detectives listening to the conversation. He told the woman, according to testimony by one of the detectives: “I was wrong. I wish I could get forgiveness. I know I won’t get it from you. I wish I were dead.”

Glad to know you can lol about it. I think that what you think - is pretty fricking disgusting.

You seem like someone that had to look up how to spell psychopath before posting it and has no idea what it means.
Were you able to find the post saying JoePa is JUST AS BAD as the rapist without me linking it?
Posted on 11/7/11 at 1:09 pm to TreyAnastasio

LINK
That link has a timeline of everything that happened. Clearly Paterno should have been put on notice in 98 when Sandusky was being investigated by the police and child services for inappropriate sexual behavior with a child in the football locker room. Then another allegation in 02 and he doesn't think to do whatever the frick he could to get Sandusky away from the program? Two complaints in five years about him diddling kids in the fricking locker room? How was he not fuming that such a thing could possibly go on in his facility.

People in this thread have said he's JUST AS BAD as Sandusky. JUST AS BAD as the guy who blew a 10 year old.
I agree that calling him just as bad as a child rapist is absurd, but no less absurd than absolving JoePa.

No, I'm not. The AD and VP turned themselves in and were charged on Monday. And rightfully so.

Where's the part of this that says "The police then went and told JoePa about the incident and he told the police to let it go because he's JoePa, almighty ruler of Penn St."?

AG says that 1998 investigation was handled by Penn St PD...(looks even worse that GA's story in 2002 didn't trigger an outside call.)
and then Sandusky "retired" a year later, but was allowed to use the school for longer.
This reeks of cover-up from Day 1.

Most of the people that I know that work in intercollegiate are expecting Joe to go this year (by latest next year) on his own so I think either way he's probably going to go.
