I don't see how Stern rigging the draft benefits the Hornets at all. The league no longer owns the team.

Unless you are saying that Stern promised the first pick to Benson when he sold it. Even then, I don't see how it's possible to rigged the draft the way its set up now without a lot of people in on it.

Well if they have nothing to hide as far as the draft goes, why not make it live

Maybe because they select 4 different digits that correspond with 4 digits that were picked ealier and assigned to each team.

Last night the Hornets had 137 possible number combinations that could have been picked for the number 1 pick. You think anyone wants to actually watch that?

it's nice to have a superstar on the Bulls, but I don't think it was a pressing need. they'd shown themselves to be competent enough to build a playoff team post-Jordan anyway.
