Just going to leave this here fellas... I'm a PBS Alum and former football player. Catholic was obviously the better team and deserved all the credit for tonight's win. Congrats Bears

Knowing majority of the players on PBS team this year I think getting beat like that will do them a lot of good for the rest of the season. Taught them that just because they won state last year doesn't mean that its just going to be given to you again this year. This game will do what last years game did for CHS IMO. After this game last year Catholic rolled through teams until the Quarters. Once again great game CHS...

Wish Catholic the best of luck for the rest of the season and hope the Guice is back on the field next week.

And which principals proposed that changed? And who voted for it?

Again, Proposal 18 has absolutely nothing to do with Catholic School League. Hell, all of the schools in the Catholic School League voted against the proposal.

here is a tidbit....

when select 3a,4a and 5a were going to be together in the playoffs.....certain schools were beating the drums very loudly for a split... once curtis(3a got put together with 4a) they piped down and got what they wanted.. NO CURTIS and to a much lesser extent no ECA(back when play in class was started...a certain principal was very tired of ECA....actually 2 or 3....

now what you have is some 4a schools standing on an island looking at legal action just in time for the playoffs to be turned back to the old ways....

there is already lots of talk in 5a of doing the same thing.. mainly because there is still the threat of privates walking.... albeit once curtis and eca got isolated from the most powerful schools... that talk has diminished greatly.

now... for the 3a schools.... they are going to take their medicine like the 2a and 1a schools did....

while the schools with the man power and resources to compete with curtis and eca.... brag about their biggest class title trophies.....

this winters lhsaa meetings could make last years look like a walk in the park.....
