So with Anderson gone, who is in the on deck circle?

In order of likelihood, I think:

1) Butch Jones (Tennessee)
2) David Beaty (Kansas)
3) Barry Odom (Missouri)

How many sex offenders are on their football team?

Kansas at #2 seems high.

They have been an afterthought except when Mangino was their coach. They could give a shite about football.

I disagree

1. It's no worse than Cal and Wazzu
2. Getting the leftover Nike money is better than nothing at all
3. You can compete for a title when Oregon and/or Washington is down

Who's the catcher who was also the kicker?

It is arguably the worst position of any PAC 12 School outside of Colorado, whose restraints are mainly self-imposed.

It’s on the order of a Rutgers or Wake Forest.

No doubt if he's waiving future payments.

I don't know anyone who leaves $10mm on the table. I could see him maybe agreeing to a reduced buyout, but leaving with nothing if he didn't land the program on sanctions is mind-blowing.

He left $12,630,555 of guaranteed $$$ on the table by leaving.

Yeah. Makes no sense to waive the buyout if you're a coach

Bret might not survive past the next two weeks if they go like everyone thinks it will. 2-5(0-4) and he's done.

No way does Kansas fire their coach this season. I could be wrong, but i think they are still paying 3 coaches already.

The only thing saving Bret is that buyout.

I mean it's Corvallis, OR. Maybe he just wants to get back civilization. Corvallis is damn near as bad as living in Ruston,LA.

They are likely still paying Weis.

I doubt they are paying Turner Gill since he ended up getting a job somewhere else.

Not really. He'll either mutually agree like Anderson or he'll get 2mill for the next 7 years.
