They sat at home watching the B1G Championship Game, getting healthy, and woke up to find out they're playing James Madison in round one of the CFP.

None of the teams with byes won their games last year so that's not really the clap back you thought it was.

Way too early to say this is a real trend or disadvantage yet. Two of those teams were Boise and ASU and Georgia was starting a new QB.
